STALLION OF THE NIGHT

Hear the sound of
Thundering hooves in the night.
Galloping, galloping,
Near dancing flames,
With the swiftness of eagles,
As though they would take flight.
The moon glows with brightness,
Glistening stars in the sky,
Drinker of the wind,
The stallion passes by.

Artist's Comment:

"Fire and Ice is a piece I truly enjoyed painting for it's action and striking color. It began as a fun experiment with color and the capturing of the spirit of an Arabian stallion running with the wind in the night."
