Artist's Comment:

"Mommy and Me depicts the closeness of a mother and her baby. The proud little one chews on a tassel of his mother’s halter, with a look as if to say "I'm with my mommy!"

In the planning of this completely original piece, I was influenced by the 17th century Western Art of the Italian Baroque period (famous for varied light and shadowed affects). I added more warmth and a luminated look to my rendering.
