"This piece was created strictly for fun and is not my usual style of realism. Notice Rudolph (the red-nosed reindeer) in the background, You can almost imagine him thinking, “If that doesn’t beat all, now I’ve seen everything! Humm, where do I fit into the picture this year?” Soon after completion, it was chosen for the front cover of the Arabian Horse World magazine (Christmas issue), December 1970"
